Recently, Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the recruitment of 10,000 more nurses in government hospitals soon to improve the quality of healthcare. The recruitment process for the mentioned program will start in a few months.

Are nurses demanded professionally in foreign countries?

There are great job opportunities abroad with a nursing degree from Bangladesh. In the last year, nurses have been deployed from Bangladesh to many countries including Jordan, Malaysia, Australia, and the US. A nurse working abroad can earn up to 2,00,000 taka in a month or even more with overtime compensation. Nurses are also in demand as private caregivers.
